Watch Koko The Gorilla’s Adorable Reaction To Getting Kittens For Her 44th Birthday

The gorilla best known for her mastery of sign language turned 44 today, and to celebrate Koko the Gorilla‘s birthday, she was given a box full of adorable kittens. Koko, who understands 2,000 words in English and communicates with her knowledge of over 1,000 signs, took a liking to two kittens. In the cutest display you’ll see all day, she signs for her handler to put the kitten on her head.
