Unfortunately, most of us lose sight of the pleasure of reading as our lives progress and get busier — but 4-year-old Daliyah Marie Arana of Gainesville, Georgia doesn’t have that problem yet.

Having read 1,000 books already, she was named “Librarian for the Day” at Library of Congress and has been reading since she was two-and-a-half years old.

This adorable footage only further reinforces the importance of reading for young people; an inquisitive mind is always learning, which is a great quality to have at four years old.
